Greppicante is our answer to those who want a glimpse into the I Greppi Estate. A dip into our iconic lakes and sizeable splash from this readily drinkable Bordeaux blend. The 2020 vintage was characterized by an almost entirely dry summer. The freshness of I Greppi’s estate soils helps regulate the resulting stress from drought. A 10°C diurnal fluctuation retained acidity, while light reflected from our lakes and the Tyrrhenian Sea amplified color and advanced tannin maturity. After 12 months in 2nd and 3rd passage oak, Greppicante assumes a firm stance demonstrating aromatic complexity and a refined finish. Conscience processing throughout winemaking lends generous concentration to the pure fruit flavors. Minimum effective sulfur and bottle aging for 6-weeks prior to release.
